Early Days in Nicaragua

My brain is a bit fried, I will admit.  I realize that I haven’t posted anything in a while, and I also realize that there are people out there that would like to hear from us, just even to know that we are doing alright.

So, here I am, sending out a blog post.

It’s not like I have nothing to write about, but what I do want to write about, I don’t feel comfortable writing about.

For those who don’t know, since April 18th, Nicaragua has had some political unrest happening.  If you want to know what that looks like, there is a very comprehensive article about it here.

As to how we are doing…….it is a day to day struggle trying to decide if we are going to stay, or if we are going to leave.

We will keep you posted.  But for now, please know that we are safe and have not witnessed any violence at all at this point.
